A real clear, nice bright gold color with a billowing puffy stark white head. Nose was full of tingly spice and very floral.
Taste was hoppy to start. VERY crisp, almost crunchy in its hop presentation. Slight citrus quality as well comes thru with the hop first, very spicy and wonderful saaz attack. Backing up this noble hop punch was a balanced but sharp grainy background, light, biscuit and a perfect bed for the hops to jump around on.
Overall - A kick ass summer thirst destroyer. So crisp and completely drinkable. Write it down, Fox lagers are KILLER. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

This an unfiltered (keller), Bohemian style pils brewed with Vienna malt and a single noble hop (Saaz). Brian also brews a keller German pils kown as Pikeland Keller Pils.
The brew has a golden, but cloudy glow with a white, fluffy head that soon fades to a single sheet. The lacing is pervasive and obvious throughout the tasting/sampling experience. There is a faint grassy, spicey fragrance. It has a slight biscuity taste, but the brew is all about the spicey, crispy Saaz hops. It is truly a very refreshing, drinkable, session brew.
