Poured from a tallboy can into a pint glass

L: Cloudy light golden copper pour. 2 fingers of foamy white head. Solid ring of lacing.

S: Tropical fruits and citrus... pineapple and mango.

T/F: Caramel grains and loads of tropical hop character. Pineapple, citrus, and passionfruit. Mild bitterness... a little chewy. Medium in body and well carbonated. Finishes with more fruit.

O: Easily the best beer I've had from Sly Fox and a nice take on the New England IPA. Big tropical flavor, muted bitterness, and super drinkable.

Poured into a 13 oz Weyerbacher tulip glass canned on 4/27/17. Pours a very attractive dark hazy yellow, with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves behind thick lines of lace.

Smell is guava, papaya, passion fruit, mango, pine resin, and grapefruit rind very balanced and enticing.

Taste follows tropical upfront and slightly bitter in the finish with a ton of flavor for 6.8% ABV.

Mouthfeel is a solid medium, plenty of carbonation, maybe a little dry and sticky from the massive amount of fresh hops.

Overall this is a great NE IPA that I would drink often if I could. Thx for sharing @jzeilinger.

A - Medium orange gold color with a generously thick white lacing ring, lots of tiny floaties suspended in the glass.

S - Lots of passion fruit and dank pineapple, berry. Very aromatic.

T - Spicy tropical fruit: juicy pineapple, passion fruit, resiny pine, some berry, red grapefruit/grapefruit rind. Lots of sweet and resiny hops up front ending with a long, lingering piney resin bitterness. After the bitterness finally starts to subside some berry eventually pokes through.

M - Coats the mouth with a healthy dose of spicy, peppery passion fruit and pineapple, velvety mouthfeel, very full bodied for an IPA.

O - This beer is fabulous. Highly recommended.

Poured from a 360 topped can into a nonic pint glass.

L: A medium golden color with a nice fluffy two finger white head. These beers are nice and clear too.

S: Holy dank Batman. Super aeromatic with the Simcoe really shining on this one. Loads of grapefruit, melon, vegetal notes and weed!

T: This beer is really, really dank. Loads of citrus fruits, vegetal flavors, weed, fresh cut grass and even cat piss. Yup, this is the poster child for a dank beer. Malt is biscuit like and provides some sweetness to offset the massive hops, but the hops just soldier on. Finish provides some slight bitterness with the dankness lingering and it ends up super dry. Good beer.

M: Mouthfeel was actually a little lighter on this one, they really go down very smoothly. No alcohol, a bit prickly but a great drinker.

O: Another "win" for the Hop Project beers from Sly Fox. To me, this was not as good as the #001, but it's still really good. If you are a dank fan, you will love this beer. Bring on the weed!
