Poured into a Funk Teku glass, canned on 7/05/17. Pours a very attractive orange with a two plus inch sticky white head that leaves plenty of thin lace behind, with solid retention.
Smell is herbal hops, pine, orange peel, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows pine, orange, earthy herbal, apricot, and fairly bitter grapefruit lingers on the tongue awhile.
Mouthfeel is a solid medium, plenty of carbonation, slightly dry and sticky, and drinks bigger than its 6.1% ABV, but still very drinkable.
Overall this is more bitter than tropical, but seems like a hybrid of East and West. Thanks @jzeilinger for this one.

A - Bright, clear medium to dark orange pour, lacing is dense and bright white, carbonation is light.
S - Citrus, pineapple, spicy orange, juicy. Nose overall is distinct but more on the lighter side. (Thus the lower score.)
T - Citrus, a touch of lemon, grapefruit, spicy/peppery.
M - Thick medium body and the hop resin gradually builds to create a cottony-like sensation in the mouth.
O - This is good, but I liked 002 better.
