Clear, caramel amber poured with a short, off-white head. Good retention and thick, clumpy lace. Toasted malt aroma underneath grassy, woody hops that have just a hint of pine. Strong bitterness with a bit of toasted, crackery malt to provide some balance, with sweetness more pronounced (but still mild) heading to the finish. Grassy, floral, spicy hop flavour for the most part though. Slightly crisp carbonation with medium body and hop dryness. The hops were more subtle than the other Sly Fox single hop IPAs that I've tried, but they're quite nice.
