Had on tap. Pours clear, tan in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is dark bread, caramel, and cracker with light spiciness. Medium bodied and carbonation and sweet. Well done to style like most all Sly Fox beers. A sipper and although I prefer other Sly Fox beers, this is certainly good and well worth seeking out for fans of the style.

Had at the brew pub in Phoenixville

This beer pours a very dark brown served in a tulip glass

Has a brown sugary taste to it nice change of pace to the more hoppy beers also on tap

Aroma is similar to the taste, very sweet

Mouthfeel is very good, feels like a very sweet but drinkable dubbel.

Tasted after picking strawberries and snap peas at our local CSA. Local produce and local beers for us.

A - deep brown on brown hue with a small, but fluffy, white head which left significant lacing throughout.

S - like many Sly Fox brews, very slight aroma, but mostly of malts to come in this one.

T - initial flavor has a welcome sweetness, then a bit of bite, with a long, long finish that is highly malty and sweet. This is a beer that has a natural spiciness of many dubbels, without "being spiced" where many can go wrong.

M - very, very wet brew, without approaching oily.

D - simply another good beer Sly Fox can hang their collective hat upon.
