a - a nice black color but a more brown/ruby when backlit has a nice tan head which lasts a good while and leaves a bit of lacing on the glass

s - roasted malt coffee type aroma emanates initially followed by hints of chocolate

t - the taste is essentially the smell, the roasted malt coffee and chocolate type flavors with a bit of mild hop bitterness in the finish.

m - medium bodied leaning toward the lighter side with medium carb

d - a very drinkable lager for a cold night. i would really like to see them put this in cans.

Clear, dark brown colour with ruby highlights and served with a thin, tan head. The aroma was full of dark grains, roasty and chocolate with some nuts, plus a hint of hops. Moderate bitterness with plenty of dark malts. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation and a bit of dryness. A very nice session beer, balanced towards sweetness up front and bitterness in the finish. Another great addition to the Sly Fox lineup.

A: Dark brown with a large tan head that settles to about a half inch and stays there. It also leaves very nice lacing.

S: German hops and dark, chocolaty malts.

T: Chocolate, slight cream, and German hop notes, mainly eartiness.

M: Creamy and crisp with a nice medium body.

D: This is a great easy drinker. It is a full flavor session lager. This is something that I hope to see more of at Sly Fox.
