Pours a clear golden amber with a nice white head and a little lacing.
A lot of sweet malt presence in this beer with just a hint of hops.
Drinks crisp and clean and mildly sweet with a crisp malt finish. Delicious.
Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. This is deceptively light for the ABV and quite easy to drink.
The 2008 Maibock named for the winner of the annual Goat Race competition on the first Sunday of May is one of the tastiest renditions I have had.

Poured a clear golden amber with 1 finger of foamy white head. Little retention but good lacing. Smells of sweet malts, fruit, and a touch of grass. Taste starts out with fruits like apples and pear followed by honey, grain, caramel malt, straw, grass, and a touch of alcohol. Medium in body with good carbonation. Creamy, sweet, and fruity with a nice light dry finish. Refreshing and easy to drink.

A: Clear copper with a two finger white head that fades quickly but leaves nice lacing.
S: Sweet malts and grain dominate with a bit of fruitiness as well.
T: The malts just still the show here with sweetness, malt flavors, a bit of straw and a nice bit of alcohol to hold everything in balance.
M: Nearly full bobied and creamy with a nice crisp dry finish.
D: A nice drinking Maibock for that transition from spring to summer.
