I am slowly winnowing through all of my CANs while CANtinuing to buy some, but not everything, of the new CANs that are being released. It makes for a very good CANQuest (tm), but it also means that I am drinking ~ three (3)/day what with my new job. Hooha!
From the CAN: "Sunshine Hop Dream Hazy IPA"; "Walkin' In the Hop Fields".
I Crack!ed open the vent, hesitated for a moment & then beCAN an inverted Glug of the sort that used to drive my ex-Old Lady nuts. She was CANvinced that I was going to make a huge mess until I proved that I had perfected my technique. It foamed up almost unCANtrollably, which is what used to send her into overdrive, but I knew just when to back down & off. I wound up with two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with decent retention. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose was a fruit salad mélange that tended more to citrusy than tropical, although there was a good bit of that also in evidence. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was a sort of bitter-tart fruitiness with grapefruit & sweet orange as well as some of the tangier tropical fruits, like mango & guava. Mmm. This was more my speed in terms of the style & by that, I mean an NEIPA. I have had some that were too sweet, but not in this case. This was yummy! Finish was semi-dry & actually rather refreshing. YMMV.

Dark orange in color with hazy, unfiltered appearance. Poured with a short white foam with low retention. Light sweet fruity and citrus aroma with a solid malty backbone. Medium bodied with medium carbonation and light, pleasant warmth. Sweet fruity and orange peel flavors with light spicy hop flavors and medium malt flavors. Medium light hop bitterness through the middle followed by more fruitiness and more pronounced spicy hop flavors. Finished with light, delayed spicy bitterness and citrus notes. Spicy hops and subdued bitterness nicely balance the sweet and fruity characters. Tasty and easy drinking with the signature spicy Sly Fox hop character.

Got this from the House of 1000 for around $4 drank from the can. Appearance is probably hazy yellow orange color with a half inch of froth. Taste is more bitter hop profile rather than fruit hops mildly tangy. Body is more light to medium but easy to crush. overall not a bad IPA especially considering I haven't had a Sly Fox beer in quite a while
