Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is gold, murky, hazy, off white head with fine to small bubbles, nice lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is bright, floral, fruity, slightly herbal - pleasant notes of citrus, mango, peach, grapefruit rind, then notes of pine and mixed fresh herbs/tea like; malt is just ever so present with touch of biscuit.

Taste is similarly bright with a well composed blend of citrus, mango, peach, lighter grapefruit, maybe some lemon/lime and light berry note and hint of that coconut like flavor as well; pine creeps in and maybe some mint; malt is biscuity and lightly sweet.

Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, moderately sweet, solid backing bitterness and drying on the tongue.

Overall a great hazy IPA - well composed hop blends in the aroma and flavor with the right amount of malt character work to create a fresh and bright beer.

Notes via stream of consciousness: So what do we have here? A 7% hazy IPA that's quite hazy, even cloudy like a hefeweizen, and to be honest otherwise similar in appearance as well. The aroma suggests to me Mosaic hops with notes of mango, flowers (roses specifically), peach, berries, and soft citrus (mainly orange). It's pretty bright, and yet the label doesn't mention double dry hopping or anything like that. On to the flavor... I'm still getting mango, and I think a floral note as well. The berries are there but softer, and the peach is there as well! Very nice. The citrus is stronger but still pretty much remains as just orange, no lemon/lime or grapefruit. It's a surprisingly complex hop flavor and there's got to be more going on than just Mosaic. I'm getting an odd note of bubble gum, or clove, which is a little weird but good, and a hint of coconut as well. All of that is offset though by a spicy woodiness. It reminds me of cedar, which brings to mind Sorachi Ace, but I'm quite sure they're not using that. It's earthy, subtly piney, and a touch herbal as well, and although there's some sweetness to it at the outset it's got a fairly dry finish. I'm not really finding it that bitter, somewhere around 40 IBUs, but there might be some hop burn to it that, along with the alcohol, is helping to dry it. Overall I feel it's really nicely balanced. The malt is basic, grainy and perhaps a little crusty bread-ish, and sweet enough to elevate the flavors from the hops while not allowing the beer itself to become sweet. Then those more raspy hop notes, the acidity, alcohol, and bitterness take it home. I just got a very clear note of coconut in the finish which was nice because it just kind of popped out of nowhere - I love beers that do that for you, changing up as you progress through. So, what hops have coconut? I can't remember. A lot of the 'coconut hop' beers I've had haven't been that great but I think it works really well here. OK, let's finish up. The head held up pretty well, and it left some very nice lacing behind. The body is medium, maybe leaning towards medium-light, but it feels a little fuller because of all the residual proteins and it's properly crisp. I like it! It's unique. And I love the fact that it changes a bit as you work through it - I just got a little bit of a minty note in the finish. It's well-brewed and really nicely balanced and rounded. I'm going to have to look for more of this. If you can find it don't pass it by.

Look and feel are pretty standard for a hazy IPA. Light orange hue, nice glass lacing, nice bubbly feel going down. A little more dry than the standard but still a nice balanced flavor and aroma. Overall a good but not great beer.

The pour from the can reveals a deep orange-yellow glass mug filler. There's almost no head, but there is some lacing inside the glass. A slight dry hop aroma is the next sensation. It's a slightly bitter and dry hop taste that dominates. I like it, I really like it. It may not be as smooth as the best hazies, but it's not bad at all.

Light orange in color with yellowish hues and an opaque, unfiltered appearance. Poured with a moderate, creamy, bright white foam with very good retention. Citrus fruity aromas, pineapple, sweet coconut and light boozy notes. Medium bodied with medium light carbonation and lightly creamy smooth feel. Coconut and fruity citrus flavors up front with a light malty base. Medium hop bitterness through the middle followed by sweet coconut, light fruitiness and malty notes. Finished smoothly with fruity citrus flavors and mellow lingering coconut notes. Great balance, nice feel, verybtasty, easy drinking.
