Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet, color is straw gold and hazy, head is bright white with fine bubbles and presents one finger thick, some lacing and lingering solid top.
Smell is subdued - notes of pine, herbs, citrus pith, malt, biscuit.
Taste is similar - a little subdued/light with light pine, herbal and tea qualities, citrus pith, biscuit and neutral barley malt.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness.
Overall a very pleasant easy drinking moderately hopped IPA - i want a bit more bitterness and carbonation, but otherwise very good.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, pine. Taste is the same as the aroma, juicy, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Not bad, one of the better beers I've had from Sly Fox. Fairly mainstream IPA in spite of "Winter" namesake.
