This hazy IPA is a collaboration beer brewed here at Sly Fox in May with the brewers from Verdant Brewing Co. in Penryn, England who are known in the UK for their juicy/hoppy/hazy Pales, IPAs, & DIPAs. They use a unique yeast strain for these beers, as we did for this collaboration, which was originally their own blend of 3 different ale yeasts that is now commercially available. The name and promotional materials are a nod to a line from the Hitchcock movie Vertigo (https://youtu.be/PZqMl3tag5Q), as well as a reference to the Verdant crew coming to the US last month for a series of collaboration brews and festivals.
