On draught at the Rathskeller.
A hazy golden pour. Outstanding head retention and nice random lacing.
Wheat malt, banana and clove flavors are all strong and spot-on for the style on this one.
The yeast’s flavor contribution and mild bitterness from the hops are both enjoyable.
A very good Hefe!

Draft at brewery. Hazy golden pour , tiny head. Body about right, light weizen aromas, banana, clove, bubblegum, etc. Taste too. Nearly there, but not quite. (sorry I'm a purist for hefeweizens.)

I happen to like the cloudy orange brownish look. What I don't like is the almost total lack of aroma. As I am drinking this on tap at Slyfox this beer should be at its best. It is not. Even though there was a head when the waitress set it down, it completely disappeared by the time I logged in to read the other reviews. As for the taste it's a banana bomb. If that's your style you may like this beer. While not unpleasant it's not a beer I would order again.

I had two pours, on tap, into pint glasses.
L---An unattractive, hazy light brown with an orange tint. No head, no lacing.
S---Yeasty. Some banana & clove, as per the style.
Banana & clove. A little bit of citrus & wheat.
F---Not as crisp & refreshing as expected. Carbonation is ok.
O---Not as good an offering as I would have hoped for from Sly Fox. I'll pass on a refill.

I think Sly Fox usually makes good beers. I think this is a miss for them. I poured cans into a Hefeweizen glass. There was no head. The color is good and the beer is hazy, but I can see some clumps of yeast suspended in the beer. I can't smell anything. The flavor isn't bad, but not that great compared to other Hefeweizens. My advice is try a different Hefeweizen and go for other Sly Fox beers.

One of the best wheat beers I had, extremely smooth and refreshing
