Spring Haze

just my second beer ever from these guys, a solid if already familiar hazy ipa that seems to me to be well enough refined and better than many of its local peers in this half of the state, but maybe not as memorable as the best of them. i do like the body being a little lighter than others, to me that is what makes this springy, a little more drinkability, this could be a patio hazy. the hop profile is fresh and bright and without any greenness or over saturated character, but its also samey to me, a little canned pineapple, generic citrus, and a slight botanical aspect, tasty for sure but not at all unique to me. i appreciate the fermentation being dry and on the cleaner side, makes the hops pop on the finish and doesnt distract from them at all, no weird linger at all. good carbonation here keeps it moving, it finishes with a little bitterness which i like, and overall this was quite good, avoiding a lot of the common pitfalls for the style. i will keep an eye out for more of their beers next time i am in montana!
