Amber color and clear. Good lacing from the minor head.
Lightly sweet nose. A bit of caramel
Smooth body and flavor. Toasty malt flavor with a peppery hop bite. Bittersweet finish.

On draught at the brewery's brew house. Served in a tulip glass. It pours an unusual, murky orange-brown color with a half finger of creamy, ecru-colored head and a thin sheen of lacing. Its pleasant smell includes caramel malt, apple, and raisin. The taste features sweet malt, brown bread, caramel, raisin, and a hint of cinnamon and pepper at the finish. There's little hop presence. It's medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, and the 6.4% ABV gives it nice substance. This ale is decidedly different from a typical American Red/Amber Ale. The bartender told me that the brew master intentionally gave it some lager characteristics to make it appealing to Israeli drinkers used to Gold Star. Nevertheless, Bazelet Amber Ale is tasty and enjoyable in its own quirky way.

Pours out a hazy light golden color with a full hand of almost overflowing white head that leaves a decent bit of lacing. Looks like big carbonation.
A musty wheat smell mixes with a slight citrus. Some interesting tartness in the nose.
Taste is crisp and lively with slight tartness. Pepper and spice notes from the hops. Defintely not an American red hop profile, more Belgian in this regard. Finishes with slight breadiness and clove.
Reasonably thick mouthfeel with high carbonation, in fact a bit too much carbonation for my liking.
Nice and interesting taste profile, but big carbonation makes this a bit harder than most to drink. Nice beer overall.
