A: Yellow in color with a large white head and a bunch of floaters.
S: Sweet malt and honey up front with citrus notes and clove.
T: Banana, clove, a touch of malt, and some honey. Hops are a little floral, but very subdued, although a roe water flavor comes up in finish and lingers through.
M: Medium light, with a touch of a slight syrup feel, and high carbonation.
O: Overall quite tasty, not sure what the jasmine brings to the party, but I am guessing that it is enhancing the flower flavor in the linger, which is nice, but I would be curious how much you could achieve that with hop choice, or yeast.

Devil's Backbone Brewing Co. "Flor de Luna"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle, "BONED 15:57 09.06.16 85" and sampled on 01.24.17
Notes via stream of consciousness: Flor de Luna with Jasmine. Is Jasmine called flor de luna? Literally translated it's moon flower, but maybe Jasmine is called moon flower as well. Anyway, it's got a mainly clear golden body - I cannot see my fingerprints through the glass, and there is visible particulate in suspension, but I think most people would call it "clear". Beautiful bright white head as well. It eventually drops but maintains a thin surface covering. Aroma? Not Jasmine. There's a kind of an odd smell, I can't quite place it, but I'm thinking vegetal is the only word I can come up with. Let's see if I can come up with anything better... there's a wet graininess, some sugar, and some mild Belgian yeast phenols... I don't know. It's not off-putting but neither is it welcoming, and I can only assume that it's being drawn out of actual Jasmine flowers. Moving forward... it's moderately crisp in the mouth with a very fine-bubbled median carbonation and medium-light body, and I think, a subtle tang. I'd have expected it to have a slightly higher carbonation but it works. The unusual note found in the aroma doesn't carry into the flavor, and it's sweetish with a note of vanilla and soft fruits. I'm now a couple of sips in and the lacing is quite nice: thin, almost solid sheets of bright white that seem as if they'll remain for some time. Back to the flavor, it's a bit floral and I can only assume that that's the Jasmine. There's also some mild chalky mineral, very subtle clove, "spice", and a dull note of plastic. The sweetish, lightly honeyish malt is nicely balanced by a low level bitterness, and it finishes fairly dry as the residual malt sweetness fades shortly, leaving a floral note, some soft vanilla, and a light touch of spice. I just noticed that it's labeled at 6.3% ABV rather than the 5.9% listed here. I thought I might be getting some alcohol dryness in the finish so I checked; I guess I'm wrong. Haa ha! I also notice that it reads "Belgium Style" rather than Belgian. A quick correction then in case there's any confusion: Belgium is a country, and thus a noun. Belgian is the adjective and thus the correct modifier. Despite that grammatical flaw, and the odd use of the Spanish name "Flor de Luna" which doesn't seem to match with the Jasmine used, it's really quite nice. Post script ~ I did not find the vegetal note in any of the other three bottles I sampled and I've adjusted my rating accordingly.

A delightful beer with the farmhouse / Belgian character coming through clearly, and floral & herbal notes a great complement. Never too sweet or fruity, with the right amount of tang. Color somewhat nondescript clear straw with modest white head. Nice slightly funky nose.
