On tap:
Going to start with overall-this beer hit me quickly as one I really liked. Mainly the wood (if it's not oak, I'm shocked). I could argue the wood is too prevalent, but it doesn't kill the underlying beer.
Ruby-burgundy in color, clear if you ignore color, but with little head. A somewhat aggressive swirl to bring back a quickly dissipating head.
Nose is raisin-heavy dark fruit, some prune. I also actually get vanilla (I never get vanilla) and wood. There's also a light dark cherry note in the back.
Taste is vanilla, dark cherry, raisin, and an oaky background to it all. It's sadly and greatly that simple. Feel is light, tingly carbonation with a light but smooth transition of flavors. Rarely have I had a lighter feel beer feel fairly "soft", but this one does.
Repeat: color me very impressed by this beer from a brewery I feel is always solid, but rarely this impressive.

Taste like a regular dark Abby but a little bit fruity.
