Tres Cray is a hoppy collaborative IPA in which three Devils Backbone brewers each pick a favorite hop to go into the boil kettle and another hop each for dry hopping. Built on a base of Pilsner, Vienna, and Maris Otter Pale malts, Tres Cray shifts in character with the different hops used each brew.

A: a very clear yellow, with a rocky white head.
S: odd. Floral and sweet perhaps with a touch of lemon.
T: biscuit malt, with herbal hop flavor and some lemony citrus.
M: medium light with moderate carbonation, somewhat dry finish.
O: for having so much focus on hops, it's not overly hoppy. There's a bit of a citronella thing going on that I'm not really digging.

Pours golden with off white head. Nose is hoppy as is taste. Not much after flavor which is sad. Beer is good, but not great. Would have again before mass produced.
