A: Pale bright yellow in color, crystal clear, with a nice white head.
S: Light an d malty with a nice biscuit like character. A light sweetness and a floral aroma round out the finish.
T: Malt coming through, with herbal and floral hops dominating. Solid bitterness, perhaps a touch too bitter, but only by atouch. There is a slightly soapy flavor in there, but not distracting.
M: Medium light, with plenty of carbonation. Finish is a touch sweet.
O: Overall, not too bad, but so many brewers are making world class pilsners, and this one falls a touch below the mark.

5/18/18....pours bright gold, semi clear, heavy white foam that settles down. Pils nose, straw and hay. Pils bitter forward, creamy mouthfeel. Earthy bitter throughout. Pretty good.

Yellow and nearlyl clear with just a bit of haze. A 3 finger white head that becomes thick and chunky as it recedes leaving thick lacing.
Aroma is fruity and grassy with a bit of earthy funk. Grapey and citric with a little cabbage too long in the fridge.
Sweet caramel malts and light bitter hops. More citrus with bitter funk, caramel and grapes.
Somewhat crisp and fairly thick for a pilsner. It leaves a nice sticky coating in the mouth.
One of the best pilsners yet. Tasty and aromatic with a great feel and appearance,

Poured from a 12 Oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Poured a clear bright gold with a beautiful cream head that held throughout. Sweet on the nose ... banana maybe? Bitter on the front but not overpowering smooth with a touch of sweet on the back.

DATE: December 2, 2017... OCCASION: watching Star Wars with the boys--six more before Episode VIII... GLASSWARE: Ommegang pokal... pours a calm golden body with sparse effervescence... the head is soft, white, and thinly foamy... a pilsner as expected... butter, nut, lilac, sharp Saaz hops, earthy blanket--a complicated, mostly pleasing aroma... medium-bodied, fulfilling, lively at the throat, with a bit of sweetness to boot... bitter, but not standoffish... a nice string of lacing encompasses the glass... a flowery, herbal strength moves throughout, with banana, Saaz, lightly toasted barley, apple, and pear... a pleasant experience overall, with the balance slanted towards the fresh hops... as a "family beer project," a successful one.... and not one that needs to be redone... a serviceable pilsner...
