This crisp, golden beer blends our enthusiasm for lagers with rare South African ‘Southern Passion’ hops which impart a subtle tropical passion fruit character to the beer.

Pours a nice golden color with lively carbonation. I'll reiterate, my beer is golden and not amber as other reviews and the designated style indicate. Smells lightly hopped, floral, and a hint of fruit. Taste is pretty mich like the nose. Beer is crisp and light.

A simple review for a simple beer. I like what they did here. The hops are there and present, but this beer is a lager without being a baby IPA, as so many others are. Will buy again.

Tap pour at Republic, Minneapolis. Special February release.
Dark golden colored body, clear. Three finger white head settles to thick cap. Every sip leaves a ring of lacing.
Light roasted malt aroma, with sweet hops in the background.
Taste has good backbone of lager malts, with the Southern Passion Hops adding a sweet and tropcial fruit aspect, similar to passion fruit. All quite balanced, crisp and refreshing.
Mouth feel is thin to medium, good carbonation, and invites big sips.
A different tasting lager with a darker color than pale lagers, and includes the tropical fruit taste from the South African hops.
