Review written from notes I took at the brewery after work tonight.

Appearance-wise, this beer is slightly hazy (I can see through it when held up to the light, but it's difficult to spot bubbles rising in the middle even then) and golden in color. Huge head of foam, white or just barely off-white in color.

Smell is mild at first; a deeper sniff makes a nice lemony citrus smell noticeable. A bit of another hoppy-ish smell going on in there too, this one a bit harder to pinpoint.

Taste is also pretty mild, with hardly any bitter "bite" even for a standard pale ale. IBUs are apparently 30 going by the menu, so that isn't too surprising. There is a little bit of a citrus-pithy bitter that lingers on the end. Taste is lemony similarly to the smell, a bit of a leafy-hoppy thing going on too.

Feel is unexpectedly soft and smooth; no harsh carbonation fizziness at all, and little feeling of bitterness or any noticeable alcohol warmth. Light but not watery. Very easy to drink big gulps at a time; the pint seemed to go away quicker than most 12-ounce servings. Pretty nice!

I've had this one before, but I don't remember liking it as much as I did this time; not sure what made the difference. I believe it's Citra hopped exclusively, and I remember having mixed feelings for another Citra-only beer I had in the past too -- I thought that one leaned a bit into "lemon dish soap" territory, which this one (thankfully) avoids!
