From the bottle, it pours a clear yellow-golden color with a modest white head, soon diminishing to a thin layer with a bit of lacing as you enjoy it. In the nose, it is a bit grassy and lightly hopped overall. In the mouth, it has an light malt flavor with a touch of bitter. Overall, I get an odd mouthfeel, and will possibly adjust this review later.

This is a 6% ABV 20 IBU European-style Export Lager in DB’s ThrowBack Pack. I picked this 12 pack up at my local grocery store in the Washington DC area.
Look-It pours a light-yellow color with clarity impeded only by the ample carbonation trails. The head is white and foamy
like beaten egg whites and is roughly half a finger deep. It persists for a little while only resulting in thick drooping lacing.
Smell-I get a grassy hop aroma and then prominent apple pie and other esters.
Taste-It tastes a bit like banana crème pie with a hint of grassy hops and apple cores baking in the afternoon summer sun. It leaves a coating of yeast esters and a mild metallic grain on the tongue after each sip. It is light-bodied, crisp, and refreshing.
Overall-This is a very refreshing brew, perfect for the summer heat. Leave your double IPAs at the door and pour one of these for a mildly sweet, well-balanced, and flavorful Dortmunder.

Decent lager. Gold in color and ok lacing and head. Malt is dominant nd finish is relativey smooth. Balance lcks a bit between hops and malt but a decent beer
