a: the beer is deeply amber colored with a nicely retained off-white layer of carbonation coating the surface
s: lots of earthy, citric hop aromas on a body of toasted and slightly sweet caramel barley malt, richly aromatic
m: carbonated to a moderate level, with a body around medium
t: like the aroma, largely earthy hop flavors accompanied by dried citrus rind and full support from a body of caramel and nicely toasted body, complex for the style, nicely bittered finish
o: very much enjoyed this one, lots of malt character with a great hop balance, interesting and full or character
growler from the brewpub enjoyed fireside in the Ramsey's Draft Wilderness
