On tap at Rustico during the Devil’s Backbone NoVA launch. Served in a taster glass. Pours a nice, clear golden color with a fluffy, lasting white head. Good lacing. The nose has a good dosing of apple juice and green-apple skin along with some notes of pepper. Apple is done in a nice way, and is not a turn off like acetaldehyde. Flavor has some nice pepper and grain notes to go with the apple. Light and crisp body with a dry finish. Very solid.
