On tap at the Tamarack Taproom in Woodbury, MN. Served in a 10 oz. chalice.
Appearance: Color is a hazy amber orange. Moderate amount of bubbles with a solid finger of off white head which settles into a thin patchy layer.
Smell: A dank and juicy hop forward aroma with a scent of citrus and pine. Citrus hop hints of ripe grapefruit, orange peel, mango, pineapple, lemon, and melon. Earthy hop hints of pine resin and grass. Malt hints of sweet caramel, biscuit, and yeast. Some sugar like hints as well. A very solid aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and dank hop driven taste with notes of citrus fruit and pine. Juicy citrus hop notes of grapefruit, mango, orange rind, lemon, pineapple, and melon. Earthy and floral hops with some notes of pine resin and grass. Pale malt backing notes of caramel, biscuit, and yeast. Some sweet honey like notes as well. A very good juicy taste.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, oily, and fairly chewy with a bitter drying finish.
Overall: A very good take on an Imperial IPA. Big dank attack of hops with some nice sweet malt.

Multiple 9 oz taps at town hall tap for kill the keg $3.50 night.
Had this one before and thought it was a solid dipa.
Served in a sawed off pint glass with a thin layer of sticky white head. Light amber with an orange hue. Aromas of sweet floral honey, with plenty of barley grain. Taste is decidedly sweet upfront with a bitter finish carried with stank ass hops. Solid body with a resiny hoppy finish. Overall a pretty decent DIPA. Not as drinkable as the heavy hitters but serviceable.

Had at the tap room. 10 oz pour. Deep caramel color. Had the piney, citrus hop taste that I love. Smooth mouth feel. The favors lingered for quite a while. My wife offered me a breath mint when we left and I refused. I was still enjoying the beer. A great double IPA.
