Blueberries and IPA'S just dont work, had one from pipeworks a couple weeks ago not so good . LB Batch 1999 Has loads of fruit smells not so much blueberry just fruity also not so good . The fruit infusion interfered with this 2IPA, the base beer was dank and malty and very sweet, was not digging this brew.

Clear golden color. White head.
This one has a lot of berries and fruit. Very faint IPA notes. Earthy. Some bitterness. Taste is so odd for an imperial IPA. Almost tastes like something leinenkugels would make (but of better quality).
Medium bodied. Bitter and a little sticky.
Not impressed with this one.

The description reads: "Chock-full of treasonous hop deliciousness and natural blueberry. Tropical fruit, mango, berry and citrus notes go crazy to celebrate this milestone." Honestly not far off, the smell is absolutely amazing like walking through a blueberry field on a summer evening. The taste is loads of tropical fruit and blueberry, not citrus though. Feel is a touch thin/watery for a 9% IIPA but also sticky if that makes sense. Either way one of the better beers I've had this year.
