This is fun brew known for its feature at the state fair. Currently drinking from growler from tap house. Perfect for fall and the holidays. Malty and rich with a spiced overture but not overwhelming. Not quite as 'doughy' as would be optimal in my opinion, but still a banging attempt at what we all think of as a 'mini donut'. Wish it was canned/bottled year round. Cheers.

Mini Donut pours a darker hazy brown color, with not much head. Sweet sugary aroma, but weak. Flavor is sweet and rich, hints of sugary donut and cinnamon. Good body and feel. Overall, very tasty, tastes like the name.

Look: definitely akin to a mini donut, a little darker in color, dark caramel
Smell: intense malt and caramel aromas, with the cinnamon sugar rim on your glass, smells like a cinnamon donut
Taste: again intense caramel, with a sugar kick from the cinnamon sugar
Feel: Smooth, but not thick, easy drinking in the late summer heat
Way better than I thought it would be, lives up to some of the hype.

Had this at the Minnesota State Fair. Delicious! Thought it would either be weak or overly sweet but it was pretty much perfect. They put a cinnamon sugar rim around the cup that went nicely with the beer. You taste cinnamon, bready malts and a light apple flavor. I love tap beer and this one was surprisingly refreshing. Would definitely buy it again next year.

Hazy amber colour. Cinnamon, caramel, vanilla and fried bread. Light earthy hops, lots of vanilla, cinnamon. Bready. Tastes just like a mini donut.
