This one had balance and robustness, the sweetness was subtle and the other flavors were big on it. They were plenty of complimentary reasons that bring out an amber and stay consistent.

A: Clear, bright ruby-red with a tan head that reaches a decent height and leaves thin legs.
S: Muted aroma balances fruity and caramel sweetness, and little else. Maybe a ghost of hops to keep it from being overly bland.
T: A little more effort in the taste, some breads in with the caramel and fruit along with a bit of leaf.
M: A little light from middle to finish, hits a medium body for the most part. Finish keep an even keel between dry and sweet. Clean.

Pretty standard amber ale here. Pours a deep red while sitting at the bar at the BBQ in A2. Aroma of some caramel malt and sweet fruits. Flavor follows suit, though lacking a bit with some extra wateryness. Not bad, but Blue Tractor doesn't make anything particularly special that I have tried yet. Worth a try if you're there having some BBQ, excellent for washing things down when you are thirsty. Just not an enlightening beer experience here.

This amber poured a the average, decent color of an amber, but everything else about it was slightly below average. The smell was a weak maltiness and the taste was the same. It was pretty thin-bodied and overall not too drinkable. It was my least favorite in the five-beer sampler.
