On-tap at the brewpub. Looks like a nitro pour but looks are deceiving.
A: The ale comes with a half a finger of dense foamy white head. Plenty of lacing follows, all around the mouth of the glass. The ale itself is a golden color, tranlucent.
S: The nose has spices, cinnamon comes to mind, along with a full sugary presence. Thanks to the honey for adding heft to the nose...
T:...And the taste. The cream ale benefits from the addition, beefing it up. The honey doesn't add any flavor, only fullness. Spices build on top of the smooth cream ale body, adding a cinnamon red-hot-like does of heat. The spices are a welcome addition, a surprise, within the cream ale.
M: The mouthfeel is sweet, weighed down by the spices that caught me by surprise. A thicker version of a cream ale.
O: A good ale, a little stronger than the listed 4.9% beer. The added strength creates the depth that I like.

This arrived with two, thick, full fingers worth of bone-white head. Light nose, slightly sweet. Medium mouth feel with a mild sweetness on the tongue. Color was a slightly hazy golden yellow. Finish was clean, slightly sweet, very nice. This would be a good summer beer.

On tap at the Bubes Brew Pub.
Poured a medium yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas mainly corn with some graininess. Tastes of the same graininess with a generic malty sweetness. I found the body to be on the weaker side.
