Sample courtesy of Axilla (thanks!).
Who would have thought, an Eis'ed Irish Stout (interesting story behind this 'accident' beer).
Poured a deep brown color with a reddish tint and almost no head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, cherries, caramel, and some coffee. Tastes of roast and chocolate. Thinner body.

The story goes...The fermenter froze up with the Irish Stout sitting in there and the brewer scraped the ice out of the frozen batch. Voi-la! An eis stout...
Appears a deep majogany with a dark crimson outer edge. A small head quickly fades into a mild cap. No lacing is left behind in this one..
Smell is of coffee, cream, mocha, cocoa, and nuts.
Taste is of the aromas with bitter mocha grounds mixed with ripened fruit.
Mouthfeel is full bodied but slightly thin on the start and finish of this brew.
