Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub.
Served as a hazy medium-copper colored beer with moderate off-whitebhead.
Light notes of banana and colves are present in the nose.
Taste also shows notes of bananas, but very subdued.
A nice finish, with the subtle notes of banana present.
Almost too easy too drink for the style. Nothing special.

On tap at Bube's Brewery on 1/25/08. Served in a shaker pint glass.
A - Very earthy, gritty looking brown body with virtually no head at all. Carbonation is almost non-existent. Not much lacing to report either.
S - Some faint bubblegum sweetness and clove spiciness. A bit of banana, but very subdued.
T - Predominantly bubblegum and some clove up front with some faint banana fruitiness, followed by a doughy/bready finish.
M - Very thin, watery mouthfeel with flat carbonation. Only minimal prickle on the tongue. Finish is sweet and somewhat bready.
D - A little let down with this one. Glad they are back brewing lots of different beers, but this one needs some work. Bube's stuff has always been hit or miss, and this one is more of a miss, but I'm anxious to try more of their brews in the future.
