I continually give thanks to The Bros. for putting on a fest that centered around what were then mostly overlooked lager-style beers. I had previously glossed over such offerings, but after that fest, the scales fell from mine eyes. Hell, PA makes some of the best lagers in the US and I was eschewing them out of ignorance.
My stellar server, Bill, brought it to me with a soapy finger of bone white head with low retention. The color was a deep-gold with NE-plus quality clarity. Nose had the classic honey-like lager sweetness. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium with a crisp, clean lager taste with a slight sweetness on the tongue. Finish was slightly malty, sweetish, grainy. This is what lager should taste like, not some of those monstrosities in a CAN.

The beer pours a nice gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a nice Munich malt scent that's semi-sweet with a dry lager yeast aroma. The taste is decent as well. It has a very drinkable pale and Munich malt flavor that's as complex as most lagers get. It's got a pretty good malt taste. It dry and clean in the finish. The mouthfeel is good. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This was a drinkable beer. I enjoyed the malt bill quite a bit on this one.
