As a self-avowed hophead, I was anxious to try this one. It was presented with a rocky finger of ecru head with great retention throughout, creating some nice Belgian lacing. Nose was a pleasant blend of malt with pine hops (Centennial?). Color was a medium amber with NE-quality clarity. The mouthfeel was medium with a big pine bite up front. The finish was a mix of caramel on the front and a lingering presence of resinous pine at the end. This was the best beer that I had ever had at Bube's, but its ABV makes it tough to drink more than a couple.

On tap at the Bubes Brew Pub.
Poured a medium and clear orange color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, earthy, and toasted malts. Tastes of citrus, earthy, fresh floral hoppiness, and light caramel. Lighter to medium bitter finish.
