Arrived with a good, foamy finger of off-white head with good retention. Color was simply a deep-amber with NE-quality clarity. BUPGOO! Nose had an interesting musty sweetness, undoubtedly yeast-driven. Mouthfeel was medium with a definite alcohol presence on the tongue. I do not want to make it sound "hot" but it was not particularly smooth, either. It also had berry flavors, think raspberry or blackberry, but not initially. Finish was decent, berry-like with a slight mustiness.

Pours a cloudy, dark golden color with a decent amount of fluffy white head.
The scent was of fruity and spice.
The taste starts out with the taste of banana and light citrus, also some grain. It then sort of faded into a taste of just nothing.
Light bodied, smooth, crisp and sort of thin, prickly carbonation.
This was an average beer, there was more to be desired as far as flavor. Although, it did seem to get better after about the third one.

I was served this ale in a standard pint, chilled
A - A slightly hazed golden color about a shade toward amber like honey, the head forms and falls to a white residue on the ale's surface
S - A fruity aroma which is mildly banana, the scent is slightly vegetal dms, but a hint of hop spice and toasted grain round out the aroma
M - A very highly carbonated almost tongue prickling feel w/ a lightly fruit tinged sweetness w/ the finish having a slightly bitter/spiced texture w/ mild yeast elements. The overall mouthfeel is clean and sides toward the thin side of medium bodied
T - A nice tropical yeast flavor starts the taste off like overripe banana w/ hints of honeydew melon and segways into brisk vegetal notes and spicy hop flavors. The taste of light malt and date like nutty sweetness which is somewhat out of place w/ a hint of lemony hops and green tea's vegetal yet astringent qualities.
D - The taste is better than most I have had and the only real negative is the overly carbonated gassiness. A style I wish more American brewers would adopt-very drinkable
