Served from a can.
Nice amber color, however with small particles floating around making it look muddy instead of hazy. Pours with a good head, which however lacks retention.
Intense aroma, toasted and toffee malts with a bit of fruity hops coming through.
Flavor is bitterer than expected but balances okay with the malts.
Mouthfeel is pretty carbonated although a bit watery. Aftertaste is hop dominated.
Overall a well balanced beer, generally leaning towards the bitter side of things.

Copenhagen 12/9 2020. 33 cl can from Meny. Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. The Can looks almost like canned fish. A gulping fish dressed as a captain smoking a pipe.
Pours unclear copper-red amber with a medium-sized frothy head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet odor mingling with a light sourness. Caramel, toasted malts, toffee. Hints of brown sugar. Sharp tart odor of citrus peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Dry finish.
Surprisingly bitter and dry Amber ale with only a light toasted touch.

A nice find in Italy. Spot on color, nice 1cm lacy head. Flavor a bit off style, but does not impede deliciousness.

Here we are again with the second Norwegian beer - do they all come with these nerdy names? Nevertheless, screw the name or the label, what you get for this cheap is quite much worth it. You almost get a nice, hoppy American Red Ale, though it a slightly watered down fashion (I call it a Season Red so it's okay). But the hoppiness, the maltiness and the bitterness is all there so it's AOK. I love American Reds and I find this one quite acceptable. Nothing you would die screaming for of course, but still, okay to back down once without any regrets.

from a can, this amber ale is quite malt forward and shows nothing really interesting. The beer delivers a smooth sweet juice with some heavy malt notes coming in

At La Estraza. Can. Waiting for lunch with Pedro & Miguel. Turbid, with many small particles floating but not nasty. Not bad but weaker in taste than desiderable. its shortness in taste makes its bitterness a bit bothering instead of something enjoyable
