33cl bottle. Hazy orange pour with a slightly transparent white head. Quite a bit of sedimentation at the bottom of the bottle. Smells of caramel, honey, farmhouse funk, grapefruit, lemon zest. Bitter taste, with notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, green tea and honey.

Pours a two finger khaki head that fades to a thin layer leaving traces of lace. Black color, no highlights. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Zesty citrus and coffee nose and flavor is sweet malt, citrusy and coffee. High ABV is mostly hidden. Burnt coffee finish. Decent black ale. Expensive at $10.40 for a 330ml bottle from Tully's Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Slightly hazy golden color with some very fine sediment floating through the beer. Aroma is very citrusy, seems to be tart. Well, it isn't tart but it has a slight citric acidity. Hoppy, slightly earthy, a bit of tea character and citrus fruits. Malt is in the background. Body is medium, carbonation too. Quite drinkable but there is a slight alcohol warmth. Quite standard pale ale overall, nothing special about it.
