Aged in bourbon barrels, consumed in January 2018. Ages wonderfully, super thick body, chocolate fudge all over, intense barrel aroma... the ultimate sipper. Relatively drinkable for a 12.5% monster.

Served in a chalice from the bottle here at Cerveceria Esparte here in Conil, Spain.
Appearance: Deep mahogany colored with medium bubbles. Head is off white with and orange tinted, drops with zero lacing after a few sips.
Taste: Palate crushing
Mouth: Deep sticky dessert after taste might reminds you of cheesecake infused with cinnamon and whiskey.
Overall: Incredibly sequel to my favorite barleywine every created. Always in a glass...Salud!

On tap at CBC 2016. Dark caramel with no head. Olives, figs, dried fruit and sugar. Smooth mouthfeel, almost no carbonation.
