Copenhagen 30/6 2018. 33 cl can from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj. Red can with Lucky Jack with sunglasses looking out at the Sea.
Pours hazy orange with medium-sized bubbly white head. Settles as thin layer foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intensely fruity and fresh with a prominent odor of grapefruit. Sharp, citric and acerbic. Lighter notes of exotic sweet fruit rummaging in the background.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter. Finish is dry.
Pretty good take on a fruity APA from Lervig. Pretty simple, straight forward.

May 2016: 330 ml can, from REMA 1000, Tau. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of pink grapefruit juice, a hint of piney hops. Refreshing flavour, lots of grapefruit, but not too sweet. Distinct hoppy bitterness throughout, very bitter aftertaste.

Hazy orange with, fine, soft head.
Smell is very grapefruity with notes of orange marmalade, pine and some biscuit.
Taste is crisp and fruity with notes of grapefruit, grapefruit peel and lemon. Some biscuity hints and a solid punch of bitterness. Very refreshing.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very drinkable, refreshing pale ale all about the grapefruit.

A 330ml can with a BB of June 2019. Purchased just the other day from M&S. As the name suggests, this is a variant of Lucky Jack brewed with pink grapefruit concentrate.
A: Poured into an IPA glass. A very hazy pinkish-orange hue with plenty of floating sediment and good carbonation. Yields a decent head of white foam that lasts for a moment before subsiding and dissipating.
S: Aroma of bright, sharp grapefruit with hints of zest, citrus peel, subtle fruity hops, ale yeast and a vague earthiness. The malt character is hidden by the fruit. A grapefruit overdose - very nice.
T: Tastes of intense grapefruit with notes of fruity sourness, zest, citrus peel, fruity hops, ale yeast, earthiness and faint malt. Very dry, followed by a robust hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body for the style. Somewhat astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of tart grapefruit, zest, peel, citrus hops, earthiness and ale yeast.
O: Very nice - a fantastically grapefruit-stuffed IPA. Looks alright; shame about the head retention. Aroma and flavour are intensely fruity and tart with other flavours taking a back seat. Nice body. Goes down a treat; a delight for citrus IPA lovers everywhere. Well worth sampling.

Lovely crisp fresh smell and a taste to match. Head dissappears soon after pouring but beer retains its vibrancy throughout. Different yet enjoyable.
