Poured to an Ora et Labora taster.

A: Body is orange and opaque, with much deposit of yeast. Head is white and 2mm thick.
S: Tons of passionfruit and vanilla, specially vanilla everywhere.
T: The taste of passionfruit and vanilla connect very well in a way I've never thought but it's still tough to drink a couple on these. Much like the Ice Cream series from Omnipollo, it's a good bottle to share, not to drink an entire one alone.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is good. Alcohol is unnoticed. Bitterness is non-existent. Sweetness is high.
O: Good fruity - vanilla and passionfruit, DIPA. Interesting.

Served in a Tulip glass from the bottle.

Appearance: Cloudy body with medium to full bubbles.white head rising roughly half an inch off the body. Heavy sediment with a light orange tinted make the beer look like a Picasso. Easy lacing settles smoothly.

Smell: Fruity scent with hints of mango. Malt scent comes and goes.

Taste: Sweet malts. Heavy fruit with deep pineapple and mango. I feel peaches as well and light hops. The citrus finish is incredible.

Mouth: Medium body and super refreshing.

Overall: Good IPA, one mistake was the name considering I think the beer is better for the spring or summer. Salud!

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Feb 2019. Acquired a little while back from a webshop. Described on the label as an alternative Christmas beer - I presume the brewers were aiming for a milkshake IPA. The ingredients include lactose, vanilla and passionfruit & mango aroma.

A: Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned; yields a significant amount of chunky floating sediment. A rich, hazy amber colour with lots of floaties and light carbonation. Produces a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer.

S: Aroma of sweet fruitiness with hints of creamy lactose, vanilla, passionfruit, mango, sweetener, vague fruity hops and pale malt. Somewhat artificial and rather muddled, though matches the implied style that the label describes.

T: Tastes of sweet aromatic fruit with notes of passionfruit, mango, mild citrus, lactose, vanilla, sweetener, aromatic hops, pale malt, subtle yeast and an acrid background twang. Sweet and artificial; little bitterness to speak of.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and lightly tingly, with soft carbonation and a somewhat insubstantial body for the style. Lacks texture and could be thicker. Aftertaste of lactose, sweet fruity notes, vanilla and stewed leaves/cardboard.

O: Hmmm - I'm not a fan. Lacklustre looks, while the aroma and flavour are sweet and fruity with a jarring artificial quality that's hard to place. So-so body. I'm not even sure what passionfruit & mango aroma is supposed to be - actual fruit or some sort of additive? Does what it says on the tin (sort of), but not an outstanding beer. Give it a miss.

A; attractive translucent pale orange, decent small slightly sticky head once I poured the yeasty bits in, lots of those floating about but not too many. S; an edge of hops at the start, then sadly it's just SUGARY MEDICINE, though the vanilla, lactose and mango are in there somewhere individually. T; as per the smell, but unfortunately drinking it is just moreso like sugary medicine to me. F; nice initial effervescence.

Overall; Wasn't sure if I should post this or not, but it isn't gone off yet. Maybe being fresh would have helped it a little bit.

I appreciate what they're trying to do with this, but it's just a big NOPE overall for me and unfortunately a drain pour. All I can get from this is liquid medicine like Calpol sort of stuff, which reminds me of being sick when I was a kid. Maybe if it wasn't for that, and I was a milkshake drinker, I've never had one (seriously), let alone tropical flavoured, this beer might have made sense to me.

From 3er Tiempo Cervezas. In Teku glass. Playing Neighboring Islands. Refreshing, light, citrusy, with smooth vanilla and lactose notes. Not as great as their orange velvet milkshake ipa but fairly nice too
