De
De 32gp. En copa hefe de Bavaria. Estudiando y jugando a God of War reboot. Brutal. Demuestra que es posible implementar estilos clásicos sobresalientemente sin ser alemán. Sensación ultrarefrescante en boca, con un toque a lúpulo herbal fresco que se integra muy bien con la helles base, sin taparla sino enriqueciendola

Pours a golden color with a huge, froth head.

Smells of grass, white bread dough, lentils and dried orange zest.

Has a light and refreshing body with a well carbonated, effervescent finish to it.

Tastes of soft wheat, dough and a bubbly, mineralic stone quality. Has a watery, smooth middle part with a powerless, monotonous ending, in which nothing recognizable happens.

This is a boring helles, which only convinces on the nose.

This was brewed at the new Toronto brewery.
Pours a big foamy thicker 2 finger head that fades slowly, great retention, some soapy lacing, mostly clear slight chill haze medium gold color

Nose fair grainy-sweet doughy bready pilsner malt, little straw, but balance tips towards hops, floral slight earthy fruity noble hops, big noble hop character turning a little grassy-spicy later

Taste starts a little fruity, lemon zest notes with a little generic fruity, as well as more cereal grains bringing a clear fruity-pebbles like cereal, mild doughy bready grainy-sweet malt, big cereal, but again balance is to the hops, medium to a bit higher bitterness, big grassy herbal hop flavor, a bit earthy-spicy noble hops, a bit fruity as well, dry finish with big long spicy hops, higher bitterness, long lingering bitterness

Mouth is med to a touch lighter bod, medium to higher carb

Overall starts OK with decent malt, but then becomes way too much fruity pebbles and waaaaay too bitter spicy thing on the finish to be a good Helles, even with Helles being on the higher end of hop levels this just goes over the top.
