Copenhagen 29/11 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh. Ø. What looks like two extraterrestrials with blue skin and one eye in the forehead - and for some obscure reason wearing sunglasses - on the label. They look neither naughty or nice.
Pours murky amber with a mid-sized yellow-is head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of almost transparent foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet, malty odor and light boozy notes. Caramel, toffee, hints of bitter chocolate. Dark fruits and a lingering odor of alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Thick, smooth, soft, almost viscous texture. Lightly tingling.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Boozy and semi-dry finish.
Rich and boozy as a Doppelbock should be. Not especially naughty but very nice.

June 2020: Shared 330 ml bottle, at the Yule beer tasting at Lilland Bryggerihotell, Tau. ABV is 8.0%. Dark brown colour, beige head. Pleasant aroma and flavour of malts, caramel, toffee, dark dried fruits (including prunes), hints of chocolate, some sweetness but not too much. Moderate hops. Debatable how naughty it is, but it sure is nice. Would buy again.

Can at Las Buenas Pulgas, served in a Duvel glass. Brown reddish colour, small head with short retention, average lacing. Aroma of candy fruits, nuts, plums, licorice, caramel. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Taste follows the aroma, with some metallic notes. Good.

De 32gp. En copa Teku. Jugando a Spiderman. Correcta doppelbock pero sin mucho que destacar, con los matices típicos del estilo que a mí personalmente me suelen resultar algo asperos
