Copenhagen 13/11 2020. 33 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. An unshaven, dark blue guy with sunglasses and a red flag soaking in steam. They call it a Festweizen - but the soaking guy seems pretty relaxed for a party.

Pours unclear - almost hazy - amber with a mid-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweetish lemonade-ish odor mingling with sweet apples, white sugar and a light touch of citrus.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.

Fairly well-balanced though a bit on the sweet side. Not a bad haze.

De 32gp. En vaso de hefe de Weihenstephaner. Leyendo C++20 for Programmers Ch3. Dunkelweizen bastante bien hecha, con el saborcillo del trigo muy presente y rico, aunque se hecha en falta el mayor tamaño al que el estilo acostumbra

Bought as part of my COVID-19 survival package from my local bar.

Can reads: collaboration with Mahrs Bräu. Festweizen
Served in my trusty "Seef" tumbler. I really need to stop using my dishwasher for beer glasses.
Sweet floral/cereal perfume in the air. Colour is a copper haze. Beautifull silky white head.
Smell holds strong pear and almond esters, peppery yeast profile.
Flavour is strong on yeast. Slightly smoky. Strong mineral water. Ends with a metalic sensation that is less pleasant (becomes less strong).
Aftertaste is strong on smoky yeast and crackers.

This is not bad, but I personally have had better.
