De Tercertiempocervezas. En copa Teku. Jugando a The Last of Us. Con queso Pok. Aunque el alcohol se nota algo, su excelente perfil pasteloso lo compensa totalmente y hace que la experiencia sea muy memorable.

Viscous jet with sepia foam that flees fast; deep baker's chocolate with hints of Snickers and a whiff of booze on the nose; heavy fudge, dried dark fruits, muscavdo sugar. hints of bourbon + salted nuts; thick and chewy.

This misses the mark off the top: for a peanut butter stout, there's just no straight peanut butter.
However, there's so much else going on to like: intense chocolate notes, a saltiness that keeps if from cloying without making it excessively bitter, deep vanilla that imitates whisky barrel, cakey smoothness...
It's a bit too hot - could this be 12% instead of 14%? - but only really suffers when compared to other amazing stouts (hello, 3 Bean) from Lervig.
Still lands squarely in the top tier of pastry stouts, especially without lactose.
