Copenhagen 19/12 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of slumbering bald guy with sunglasses and striped underwear on a floating cloud on the can.
Opens with a loud “swish” due to the nitro. Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, sugary odor mingling with Christmas spices. Brown sugar, toffee. Lactic sweetness. Cinnamon. Light notes of cocoa.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, soft, silken texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light salty undertone. Lingers for a while shortly. Spicy sweet finish.
Silken smooth but a tad too much focus on the cinnamon while the cocoa nibs is modest.
