Copenhagen 22/11 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark red can with silver hands grasping for the name of the beer.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue and a small off-white head. Stable. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty and slightly sugary scent mingling with a bit of licorice. Dark toasted malt, toffee, caramel and raisins.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and a bit thin.
Not exactly a Bock but truly disappointing.

Poured from can. A tad darker than expected. Chestnut brown with foamy cap. You can taste the burnt malt and hops that it's colouring suggests. Nice carbonation if a little chalky to finish.

Poured from a 330ml can.
Pours dark reddish brown, highly carbonated with a creamy looking light brown head , very little lacing .
The smell is burnt malt and toffee which follows on in the taste with a little caramel and a hint of bitterness, it's very light tasting but very rich , an unusual combination. The mouthfeel is decent, very carbonated to the point of creaminess. Overall, not a bad beer , lighter than I was expecting which jars just a little against the richness but overall decent.

330 ml bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. This is not a Bock, but a Munich Dunkel. Deep reddish brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel, medium roast malts, brittle, raisins and prunes. Smooth flavour, with the same elements as the aroma. Moderate hops. Nice to drink.
