Interestingly, cinnamon bun aroma is listed as an ingredient and I definitely get a nice cinnamon note in the flavor as well as aroma. This is an all-around unique and delicious dessert barleywine. I get a strong impression of oatmeal raisin cookie to go along with the cinnamon. Nice caramel, bourbon, and brown sugar round things out. What a singular treat, thanks Tim!

2020 edition. Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours very dark brown with almost no head. The nose is great. Vanilla, chocolate, toffee, cinnamon, clove, blueberries, graham crackers, almonds, and a bit of coconut. A LOT going on here!
The taste is really interesting, and I really like it! Definitely some oatmeal cookie going on. Actually, reminds of an oatmeal cream pie (although it has been ages since I had one!). Cinnamon, vanilla, toffee, milk chocolate, a touch of brown sugar, and a strong coconut flavor. It's amazing how they got all of this out of a beer that has no adjuncts!
Mouthfeel is creamy and viscous. The ABV is dangerously hidden. Overall, I really like this one!

Bottled and I should imagine bottle conditioned which I purchased from Beermoth in Manchester city centre
Pours a rich plum brown body with no head retained
Aroma is lovely highland toffee with whiskey edges
Flavour is marzipan with slight cherry funk and sherry
A slight oil like slickness to the a little too easy to drink mouthfeel
