Bought from a local grocery store while on business trip to Stavanger, Norway. Poured from a bottle into a clear plastic cup (because that was all I had).
A – Color is very pale straw and the beer is clear but milky. The head is thin but persistent and is pure white with exceedingly tiny bubbles. Significant lacing on the glass. It looks just like a classic Belgian Wit, which the label implied it was imitating.
S – The aroma is very faint and is all about yeast. It smells like a brewery during fermentation, but with notes of sulphur and lemon. It does not smell spoiled, but it is not very inviting. Some very faint noble hops. No identifiable wheat or other grains.
T – Mild, refreshing flavor. A little malt, some wheat graininess, lemon, spice, hops. This is a very well-balanced and overall drinkable beer, although the finish seems a bit too sweet.
M - Velvety carbonation. Moderate body that seems a bit too thick for the style. Alcohol is not noticeable. Just enough hops bitterness to keep the beer from being too sweet.
O – This is a nicely balanced and well-executed wit beer. The only negative points I see are its slightly heavy mouthfeel and lack of an inviting grain or spice aroma.
