Our most popular seasonal beer, this light and refreshing American style wheat is composed of a surprisingly mild sweetness with a crisp blueberry finish.

A: Pours a clear medium golden honey in color with light to moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint amber + golden yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall creamy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of slightly sweet blueberry and cereal grain malts.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of wheat and cereal grain malts with just a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of slightly sweet blueberries and just a hint of grassy hops in the finish which impart a light amount of bitterness which does not linger.
M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Crisp, refreshing, and easy to drink making this one pretty enjoyable for the warm weather of the spring/summer here in NC. I like the fact that it is not overly sweet and has nice natural blueberry flavors and aromas. Reminds me of my first legal beer (many years ago) that was a blueberry ale and tasted quite similar.
