The beer arrived at the table clear amber with a low yet persistent head.
The aroma was caramel and toffee.
The flavor was caramel sweetness with a huge diacetyl flavor and a slight chocolate flavor.
The finish was off dry with diacetyl into the aftertaste and the body was medium.
Many people in the group I was in at the brew pub liked this beer, I however was not one of them. I felt the diacetyl level was too high and the beer was too sweet.
