Served near black in color with a thick brown head. Aroma has a pleasant fruitiness to it, with hints of roasted malt and sweet honey. Full-bodied mouthfeel. Malty roasted flavors dominate the palate. Honey adds more sweetness and complexity to this already full flavored porter. Hints of caramel emerge also. Hop bitterness cuts the sweetness quickly near the back. Slight smokiness emerges also near the finish. Honey porter is a great winter offering.
