16oz can, willi becher glass. Clear darker golden orange body, halfway between a pilsner and vienna lager; one finger white head, good retention. Smell is mildly fruity esters, biscuit, a bit of mineral, even a bit of clove. Light floral. Flavour is grain, a bit of caramel, fruity banana esters and mineral. It's a bit out of kilter as far as what I was hoping for a cleaner lager, but if you think of it as more like an ale or kolsch, it makes a bit more sense. Medium bodied, a bit heavier and grainy than expected, a bit astringent and estery on the finish.
